Welcome to my second blog, this blog is all about wedding day tips & advice. In this blog you will find some fun tips and tricks to make your day be as stress free as possible.
Lets dive right in.
BLOW ME - stay with me on this one - I promise this is a vital Wedding Day Tip.
I can't take credit for this Wedding Day Tip, I saw it on a podcast and I cannot, for the life of me remember the name, however I thought it was so fun and it stuck with me.
BLOW ME? - so what do I mean by this? Get your mind out the gutter, it's really not what you think it means, but its such a practical piece for your wedding day tip 😉.
B - Bouquet out of water - If your holding fresh flowers on your wedding day, they will be delivered in water, take these out of water & dry the stems 30 minutes before your due to walk down the isle, why? Because there is nothing worse than water splashes on your wedding dress.
L - Lady garden - Hold your bouquet lady garden low, I believe the words used were hips not t*t's. This proves for better photo's.
O - One hour - be ready one hour before the ceremony starts, this will account for any last minute fixes. Take that last hour to relax, take pictures, do Tik Toks (if your into that, I feel like a social media dinosaur & cannot figure out how to work the app, A for effort though Jen), have a glass of champagne and just breath. That last hour will fly by.
W - Wrist's & Ankles - Check our wrists for any forgotten bobbles or bobble marks & ankles for any sock marks or unwanted anklets you may have left on. If there any any marks and your ready one hour before, by the time your due to walk down the isle they would have gone.
M - Move your engagement ring - Move your engagement to the other hand in preparation for your wedding band, for most brides the engagement ring goes on top of the wedding band. If you move your engagement ring beforehand this will take the pressure of trying to get it off when everyone is looking at you and your hands are sweating through nerves 😁.
E - Energy - this one is fairly self explanatory but bring the energy, set the tone for a positive day from the get go. You are the ENERGY, you are the VIBE, you are the BRIDE!

Top Wedding Day Tips for a Magical Morning.
Your wedding morning sets the tone for one of the most important days of your life. It's the calm before the beautiful storm of emotions, celebrations and memories. Here are some fun and essential wedding day tips to ensure your morning is as magical and stress free as possible.
1. Start with a good nights sleep.
We know it's easier said than done but a restful night's sleep is crucial. Try to relax the evening before with a warm bath, a good book, a nice film or some meditation (if thats for you). Avoid caffeine and screen time right before bed to ensure you wake up feeling refreshed and ready.
2. Have a healthy, hearty breakfast.
Kickstart your day with a nutritious breakfast. Think fresh fruits, whole grains and protein. This will keep your energy levels up and help you stay focused. Avoid anything too heavy or greasy to prevent any unwanted sluggishness.
3. Get your playlist ready.
Music sets the mood! Create a fun and uplifting playlist to keep the atmosphere lively and positive. Include some of your favourite songs that make you feel happy and excited. Don’t forget to add a few calming tunes for those quiet, reflective moments.

4. Stay Hydrated.
It’s easy to forget to drink water when you’re busy, but staying hydrated is key. Keep a water bottle with you and take small sips throughout the morning. You’ll feel more alert and radiant and it may help with the hangover the next day.
5. Organise your essentials the night before.
Make a checklist of everything you’ll need on the day and pack it the night before. This includes your wedding dress, shoes, accessories and any makeup or skincare products. If you are staying at the venue the night of your wedding make sure you have something comfortable to wear for the next day. Having everything in one place will save you from any last minute panic.
6. Surround yourself with positive people.
Your bridal party should be your source of joy and calm. Surround yourself with people who make you laugh, who support you and who can help ease any nerves. Their energy will keep you grounded and uplifted.

7. Take a moment for yourself.
Amidst all the excitement, take a few minutes to yourself. Reflect, meditate or simply breath deeply. This personal time can help centre your emotions and give you a moment of peace before the celebrations begin.
8. Stay on schedule but be flexible.
Having a timeline is important but remember, it’s okay if things don’t go perfectly to plan. Flexibility is your best friend. Assign a responsible friend or family member to keep track of the schedule so you can focus on enjoying the moment.
9. Embrace the joy.
Most importantly, this wedding day tip is all about soaking in the joy of your wedding day morning. Laugh, dance and cherish every moment. This is the start of a new chapter in your life so let go of any lingering worries and embrace the happiness surrounding you.

10. Have fun.
Crucial wedding day tip - make sure you have fun, the day will go so quickly. During the reception, don’t just play host. Actually enjoy each other. Do your rounds of greeting people for the first hour then commit yourselves to sneaking away for a little to catch your breath. After, remember to sit down and take it all in together. don't worry to much if you didn't get chance to speak to everyone in your assigned hour you can always drop them a text the next day.
Everyone wants to speak to the bride & groom on the day of the wedding and rightly so but this is also YOUR day, they will love seeing you have fun, dancing and laughing.

A few more wedding day tips to remember:
Break in your shoes - bring a comfortable back up just in case.
Include quiet moments - if your anything like me and easily get overwhelmed and end up with zero social battery just take 10 minutes to yourself, even if thats hiding in the loo or in the room where you got ready or even in the back with the kitchen staff but its crucial to recharge your social battery.
Capture speeches - have your videographer or an assigned person capture it all on video. Most new iPhones shoot in 4k, so if a bridal party member is doing it, make sure they adjust their setting to that or another high-quality version.
Trust your team - have an assigned person or people to deal with any last minute issues or family conflicts. You don't want anything ruining your energy - protect your energy at all costs.
